Kliger was such a wonderful buck. We are so lucky to have had him as one of the foundation goats of our her. When he passed were had already decided to keep his son Perchik and Perchik has outdone his sire and has become the best buck we've ever owned! We could not have built the herd we did without having Klinger and our other foundationbuck Kleid to use to build a wonderful base to use. We were so fortunate to have Klinger and he is sorely missed!
Klinger was a brown and white "paint" colored buck. He had a very smooth topline and is from a line that really "glues" the udders on. I have seen terrific improvement in his daughters, especially in the foreudders and general attachment.
Unfortunately we lost Klinger on 4/02/04. He will be greatly missed as a breeder, but also he was a big sweetheart. We could not have built our herd without Klinger! He has thrown gentle temperments, straight hiplines, terrific udder attachements, so many things in this herd! Width, strong pasturns, too many things to mention them all.
Show record: We took him to the Mega Bucks show 2002 and he placed 3rd, 4th and 4th in 3 classes of 7. He broke his rear leg as a yearling, so we don't know how much that hurts him in the show ring, but we were happy with him!
